Delicious food. I had the spicy idli and masala chai. Their service is fast and prices are reasonable. So many dosa and idli choices!! Inside has plenty of seating. You pay at the counter on your way out. They have some delicious chutneys and jalebi to buy to go as well. I'll be back!

New South Indian place opened, brb I gotta check it out. Had the medhu vada which came with tamarind, peanut, masala and yogurt dipping sauce. It was good! Who doesn't love a savory donut to dip with sauce. The star of the show was the mysore masala dosa. The waiter warned it would be spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. Mild spicy if anything. The dosa came with the same four sauces and I love dipping crunchy things in sauce. I appreciate how helpful the waiter was because the menu had so many options I didn't know what to pick. The interior is a Japanese restaurant because this used to be a sushi restaurant. We paid our bill at the front desk. I'll definitely be back

We went for weekend dinner around 8 pm, crowded but lot of space available. They have tables and booths. So people can choose, I like booths better because it gives coziness large party they have tables so both groups are covered. Plenty of parking available. We started with Podi Idli, which is a basic idli that is smothered with ghee and chutney podi, aka gun powder. It was also accompanied by 3 varieties of chutney( sweet ginger, peanut, and Tangy tomato) and sambhar. For this, you really don't need any of the accompaniments, just the podi Idli will do. Podi Idli, the Idli itself was ok, but with spicy podi, it was good. Must try if you like spicy food. Next, we ordered Ghee Onion Rava dosa, which was served with additional coconut chutney along with the other 3 chutney and sambhar. Ghee was missing in fragrance as well as taste. But the onion rava dosa was perfect, not oily or not too crispy, just right enjoyed a good rava dosa. Coconut Chutney was the best side for this dosa. Next, we ordered a Madurai malli (Cilantro) dosa, this a dosa where they have spread cilantro chutney, this is a unique not available in many dosa places. If you like cilantro, you should try this. There was enough chutney and was accompanied by 4 chutneys and sambar. All the chutneys were freshly made and good tasting, too. Coconut chutney is a mild spice and has a nice coconut taste to it. Tomanto Chutney is also less spicy, but tangy. Peanut Chutney brings that peanut taste but not overwhelming either. Ginger Chutney is on a little sweet side and brings the nice ginger taste. Sambar was a lot better than other Indian restaurants, but it has some unique taste due to the addition of some spice, which I am personally not a fan of. Other than that, it had the right consistency and taste. Service was good. They don't seem to go back after the initial order for addition or inquiry, but any additional service request were promptly catered. It could use a supervisor when crowded. Also, they are going to serve chaats in a few weeks! Overall, it's a good place to go for dosa lovers.

This is our go to place for South Indian food. It has amazing food, awesome and quick service, and a cozy ambiance. Their vadas are crispy on the outside and soft inside, idlis melt in the mouth and dosas are yummy too. The saambar is a tad bit spicy for me but am guessing one can ask them to tone in down. Overall we love this place!

So far, I've had ghee podi idli, podi masala dosa (really spicy), upma, vada, Pongal and chana masala and puri, along with rava Kesari for desserts. And, I love them all.

Simply THE BEST Podi Idlies I've had in the bay. You must order this dish, idly lover or not. Their in-house podi is delicious elevating every dish that has it. They also have some fantastic allam chutney (made from ginger) that comes with all dosas and idlies; you don't find this in all south Indian restaurants. Rava dosa is another 10/10 dish and something we order every time we dine with Ulavacharu. This is our first time at the Campbell outlet, the place is neat with lots of bigger tables for families.

We have been regulars to their original location in Sunnyvale. If there is one reason anyone should visit , it is because of their chutneys. Andhra style chutneys that taste amazing! Allam chutney (made with ginger, jaggery) needs a special mention. This location has the same awesome menu with an even better ambience. Service was super quick as well!

New location that clearly took over the sushi spot that was once here... Menu is very standard and has a variety of dosa options. Each dosa comes with 4 chutneys (ginger, tomato, coconut, and peanut) and a lentil soup too! Pretty good deal. My recommendation would be the Ghee Rava Dosa! Very unique compared to the typical thin crepes that dosa is known for. Rava is a wheat grain, so the texture is a little more fluffy and has a different flavor to it. Very delicious!
